The materials of the Maine Folk Dance Camp are mainly comprised of the sheet music and dance step instructions for a variety of folk dances (with a few social dances) of different nationalities. It also includes a small number of research papers and bibliography on folk traditions of different countries, such as marriage ceremonies, harvest festivals, etc. The papers were arranged in two series (see organization section).
